“She Remembers Me” and or “I am Made of Her” propose a gentle and natural ending to life, not unlike the flowers and fauna of the forest returning to the earth when they die. It is after all, the death of all those who came before that feeds the life of the ones who are living. Soil is built up in the forests and the fields as the resulting accumulation of dead plants, insects, micro-organisms and animals. Together we wonder about the parallels for human culture. Culture is built of our ancestors and given agency by the living.
