In dance and bodywork his path led from classical and modern dance training to working with postmodern dance forms and improvisation.

Lars also worked, lived and learned on organic farms and with shepherds in France, Italy and Norway, and holds a Diploma of Applied Permaculture Design.

After initiating and facilitating the Art, Ecology & Education Project in 2006 in Berlin, in 2010 he conceived The Natural Circus:

“Not unlike a wandering monk or a pilgrim, or at times a traveling researcher, I roamed in and out of cultural contexts and natural environments.

At times I passed on information on various practices and approaches from one culture and bioregion to the other.

Also, The Natural Circus was my form of resistance.

It was a conscious and necessary withdrawal from Western ways of perceiving, thinking and operating on any level, which I could not resonate with and which I often experienced as destructive, or not based in an ecocentric and integral approach to view the world.

It was (and is in a way) a passively active way of non-cooperation/participation; an ongoing strike, that at the same time, here and there, points at and shares alternatives.”

Since then, Lars continues to explore the creative process in the context of soundart and music, various visual arts, and dance.

He facilitates and teaches in the context of

With Mu Landscapes he creates regenerative landscape and garden designs, and pursues research in animal behavior and communication.
Another research interest is traditional craftsmanship and land use.

Besides the deep immersion into rural areas and retreated life, he has been living and working in major cities like New York, Paris, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Barcelona or Oslo.
